Principal's Message

A very warm welcome to the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario!

On behalf of the staff at the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario we would like to extend a warm welcome to all international students attending school with us this school year.

Moving to another country and immersing yourself in a new culture is a challenging and exciting event.  Living and studying outside your home country will be one of the most significant experiences in your life. You will meet new friends, great teachers, organized trips and sports and live with an English-speaking Canadian family.  All of these things will help to greatly improve your language skills. Canadian culture is warm and welcoming, and our educational system is one of the best in the world.

The following informational guide includes information to help familiarize you with what to expect before, after and during your studies in the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario.

Our team and the staff at our schools do their very best to make you feel welcome and to make sure that you have all of the resources needed to ensure your success in achieving your educational goals, make new friends in a safe and beautiful setting.

Our staff is here to help you succeed and to meet your educational goals.  We will be available to help you in the absence of your family and close friends.

We hope your experience will be a positive and rewarding one.  If you have any questions or would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely yours,

John Paul Elliott, Principal / Principal of International Education
